  • Cruise line to recreate the illfated cruise of the Titanic

I can't believe someone is actually doing this....

Are you ready to go back to Titanic again?

Well, yes the memorial titanic will depart again, on the 100th anniversary of titanic. One of the biggest ships ever departed and never came back again. It was the day on 8th April 1912. The ship was departed having several people from all communities and almost from all societies of the country. The party was on. No one can even thought of sinking as it was near to impossible at that time for the people to believe that Titanic can sink, such a huge cruise, such a populated ship with all the colors of life departed with the proud . The giant ship was just like a city on the water but the nature didn’t like the pride titanic, the nature once again taught the humans that anything can vanish within no time even the Titanic.

So the memorial ship named Balmoral has been planned and chartered by the British firm Miles Morgan. Fred Olsan Cruise line is the company, which owned the cruise.

The memorial cruise will depart from the same place, Southampton, England from where the original titanic departed on the same day right after 100 years. The Balmoral will reach the exact place, where titanic met the ice bergs and where it ended in the water. The time would exactly be the same around 11:00 am on Valentine’s Day 14th April, 2012.

The memorial service will be offered at that place where thousands of people were killed by the merciless sea water. After the memorial service, the next stop of the cruise will be the graveyard where few of the titanic sufferers buried. The final destination will be the New York, which was the final destination of the Titanic where it never reached.

During the voyage, the itinerary will remain the exactly same as of the original titanic. The Balmoral has the capacity to carry 1350 passengers. It has 710 cabins and the crew will be comprises of 510 experts. The original Titanic was carrying around 1700 people out of its full capacity of more than 3000 passengers.

Best of luck, the memorial titanic cruise.

You know.. tempting fate is one thing, but this is offering it a lap dance.

Did they hire Celine Dion to provide the onboard entertainment?

James Cameron is already waiting with his submersibles and Bill Paxton.

I'm already scared of deep water...so there's not much of a chance of me EVER going on a cruise. But, I think it would be a cold day in....well...you know...before I even THOUGHT about going on this one.

At least it is not in a replica of the ship, a proposition which has been started at several times over the years by various firms.

This sounds like a neat way to remember the original accident, but I'd be a bit nervous to go on it!
                Good morning, son
                In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
                It was pain
                Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Yeah, that's what I thought. I didn't know Valentines Day was in April either.

Yeah, I was noticing that too about the article...there might be a few typos, but that was really hard for me to read. Things weren't making sense...
And yeah, Valentines day would be Feb. 14th, not in April.
Wow...I've been gone a long time...but I'm glad to be back!!
