Re: Define your screenname on micechat.
Micromind...... smallest brain on the planet!
I'm an industrial electrician, and design/ build/ install/ maintain industrial machinery. Some of it is a bit complicated, especially the electrical controls.
Most of the time I have no problem at all with even the most complicated stuff, but every once in a while I'll make a mistake that's so incredibly idiotic........
I guess I need to prove that I'm still human sometimes.
Rob
P.S. It's the same name I use on the other forums that I haunt.

Re: Define your screenname on micechat.
I started a thread just like this, but it died over time,Here is what I put:
The story behind "Dan - Tasmic!" is quite simple. As many know, I am an ex CM. I work in TL attractions at HISTA, Astro Orbitor, and BLAB, but I mainly did GC: parades, fireworks, special events, and you guessed it: FANTASMIC! As first, when I was first scheduled it, I didn't know what it was or what I was into. I soon began to loathe it as a passion. Soon, as I recieved more Fantasmic! shifts, I began to love it and it became my life and that was all I ever did. i rarely saw my attractions after that. Me with other CMs worked together a lot and knew what we were doing to a point we guided new hires how things worked and flowed. The name "Dan - Tasmic!" came to me from another former CM when he combined his name with Fantasmic! His name was "Dean Phan" and I saw the name "Phan - Tasmic!" Soon, I saw the word play and added my name, hence my Mice Chat name: Dan - Tasmic!

Re: Define your screenname on micechat.
mycroft16. Mycroft is Sherlock Holmes' older brother. Always been a fan of Sherlock since I was little and this was a cool bit of trivia. Plus it sounds cool. The 16 because when I got my first email account back in the day, mycroft was already used 15 times.
Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

Re: Define your screenname on micechat.
I have seen this type thread come up about every six months since Micechat's inception. It is always great to see it come back with fresh names and reasons after the older ones get closed.
Pratt55 = my last name and the year Disneyland opened (and the year my hubby was born)sigpic

Re: Define your screenname on micechat.
My name came from when I was really into Cryptography, the study of codes. Julius Caesar invented a code called the Box Code that he would use to send messages to armies throughout Italy.
I explain it in the link with the (not so) random letters in my sig.

Re: Define your screenname on micechat.
I'm always surprised when my SN is available. I'd like to think that more people would be in favor of peace and love.I recently got a vanity plate for my car with peace and love on it, again surprised it was available. Come on people, embrace peace and love. I also use groovysmileyface as an SN sometimes so that would explain my avatar. And then of course there's my sig. Pretty self explanatory.
My mom likes to say that I'm a reincarnated hippie who might have OD'd on some crazy stuff one day. I love 60's and 70's related things but I have never had a drink or done drugs. So I guess I learned from my past life's mistakes.sigpic

Re: Define your screenname on micechat.
A year or two ago, I was joining this one site, and I wanted a name with just one word and no numbers or anything. So I went to Merriam-Webster online thesaurus and search some word - I don't remember which. Under one of the synonyms it said "colorized." And I was like "Hmm, that's cool." So I've been using "Colorized" and occasionally "ColorizedHappily" when that is taken on various sites for the past couple years.
Yeah, not much of a cool story, but whatever. :P∙ blog ∙ twitter ∙ deviantart ∙
