iPhone Question!!!

Hi Everyone,
I'm becoming a little impatient here I connected my iphone to my computer and downloaded a couple applications and some music and when I disconnected my iphone I didnt see it any of the things I downloaded on my iphone! I've already turned off my iphone and when I turned it back on they didnt appear. Can anyone help me please? Im sure I will probably be told its something simple to do, but heck Ive tried many things!!!

Did you sync your iPhone before you disconnected it?

I don't know about iPhones, but with my iPod Touch, when I add stuff onto it, I have to syc it to apply the changes.

You do want to make sure it is sync'd as well as make sure that you have your settings all set for those items to automatically sync to your phone. They should be the basic settings before you even start using your phone, but not sure if you changed anything while setting it up.

No I havent changed anything My iphone syned before I disconnected it. I turned my iphone off & on just to be sure and I didnt see my new things on my phone.

idk, I always just sync it and then make sure it's on the phone before I disconnect it.

Have you tried a hard boot? Don't just turn it off and on but hold the two buttons down for about 10 seconds until you see the silver apple icon then wait for it to totally reboot.

Let me know how it goes. I can't get any of my music from iTunes on my iPhone either. I've synced it automatically and tried to manually sync and neither works. My apps are there, just not my music.

I'm a little scared of a hard boot. Is that going to redo everything?

the music is weird, every time I want to add more music I have to make a new folder for it in my play list. The folders already there are locked for some reason, but it still gets on the phone. I loathe itunes.

if you added an app after you hooked up the phone, it won't be there until you sync again.

as far as music, did you choose which playlists are supposed to sync?

Hard booting doesn't reset everything. It's like turning your laptop off and restarting vs. just putting it in sleep mode. It reorganizes all the empty spaces in the memory to make things fit better.
