  • US Airman; Support Our Military :)

My family and I flew out to San Antonio Texas in October to see my Cousin graduate the US Airforce! We're all so proud of him. I wanted to share this video my cousin put together for her brother. We also are very proud of our friend Teddy who just graduated the US Marines a few weeks ago! (I will add his video once we're done making that one!) Let us remember to support our military!

I have 2 brothers and a sister-in-law who are Air Force, one of whom is currently deployed for the 3rd time.
I feel very proud of all of them and am thankful for them every day, as you should be for your Brother and your friend.
    Congrats to him!

Yeah, an Air Force graduation is something very neat to be able to see, yeah, it can be boring at times, but all in all, you get to see what it is they go through and get a better understanding of what it really takes to be able to serve our country, not an easy task.

I got to fly out to see one of my brothers graduations 2 years ago, it was really neat to see, despite the standing around in the very hot San Antonio heat in the middle of Summer. It was weird to see the change in him, but honestly, I think it has made him a much better person.

I have to agree with you, I did get a better understanding and respect for our men and women. (Hope that doesnt sound bad) But to see all their hard work and dedication of being away from their loved ones, on graduation day seeing those tears in these young men and womens eyes just broke my heart! My cousin is def a changed person he was smiling so much more than ever and extremely more outgoing. (hence he is a very very shy guy!!!) I know he and the rest of his fellow buddies have a long long journey ahead of them but we're praying and support them and love them always!

I think this world soon forgets about our military and that breaks my heart. A Marine recently passed away and he was sent back from Afghanstan (miss spelled) to be buried here in Westminister. It was all over the news and papers. A friend of mine who works for the Anaheim Police Department had the honor of helping escort the young Marine here in Westminister. Very sad, but a true reminder of whose really fighting for our freedom.

Let us continue to keep them in prayer. God Bless this world.

My cousin graduated from the Air Force Academy in 2005 and my whole family road-tripped out to be there. Aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents. It was awesome. We are incredibly thankful that he is stationed in the US (and that he got to come home for Thanksgiving!) Big hugs to all of our military families out there!

ETA: Yep, the video made me cry too. :gladsad:

Thank them for serving. My son leaves in March for basic in Ft Knox Kentucky. I'm a proud and nervous father.
