You mean people actually buy stuff on Black Friday? The last two years at my store I was stuck being a cashier for the rush and people would come up with loaded carts but then decide they only want one or two items and say to send back the rest. Last year I had this lady come up with a cart full of DVDs and BluRays along with a pair of pajamas and a microwave. Yep, she only wanted the pajamas. WTH?
Um... I sat around this morning waiting for the Direct TV guy to come and replace our receiver. But even if I hadn't been waiting for that, I wouldn't of gone out because we're having a simple, basic Christmas this year and there is nothing that was on sale this morning that I could not live without or needed or wanted.
I was working all day.... But I mean, I did buy toothpaste and eye contact solution, for myself. (I'm sleeping over at grandma's today and, I forgot the above, and Grandma doesn't have either. lol)
Cat Food
Comet
Doritos
Incense
Incense Holder
Red Vines
Mini RC copter (I went in to Radioshack to get one for my father (He loves that crap), not a single RC Copter was on sale)
Even though we don't have Black Friday here in Canada, there are some stores starting to offer Black Friday deals here as well so people don't go cross-border shopping. Some stores decided to start having Boxing Day sales early.
The Real Canadian Superstore had 2 tax free days in a row right now so I picked up three DVDs: The Great Muppet Caper
and a couple of Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy in Steel Book case (6-disc set) King Kong
