Well its that time of year again, The New Year is upon us and I am wondering, Do you have a New years resolution? Or instead of a resolution are you just going to change a little something in your life, or anything your hoping to do or to receive in the following year? 1. Go to Disneyland more!
    2. Stop wasting my time and energy on unproductive relationships!!
    3. Go to at least one Sunday meet!

    Not necessarily in that order!

Re: What is your New Year's Resolution?

            I don't make New Year's resolutions. I do wonder:

            How many resolutions get kept?
How many resolutions are not kept?
            How many are unrealistic?
How many are made each and every year, and fail?
How many from this past year are still successful?

I do wish everyone much success in sticking to their resolutions.

I make New Years expectations :
                  - Be on Facebook less
                  - Get a job
                  - Be in one play at school in SF (?)
                  - Get a life (less time lounging and on the web and being active)
                  - Go through with my "transformation" (lose weight and tone up)
                  - Try and be more health conscious
                  - Open myself up to new things and take more chances

"Well I don't know about you folks, but it's way past my bedtime."

                      Same here, in a sense..

A long-standing recurring one of sorts was to "get out of the rut". This has finally occurred this past year, although it was more circumstance than choice that made it happen. Some other old ones have eventually occurred as a matter of course. Lately I've thought up one though. A rather esoteric one: build an electronic device of at least moderate sophistication. Not just modify, enhance or rebuild an existing thing, which I've done many times, but build something completely new from the ground up, which I really haven't done in a very long time. Maybe start practicing a musical instrument too (no real motive though is the problem).

                          New Year's Resolutions?

Got any New Year's resolutions this year?

I'm carrying two over from last year:
                          • Hope to find career-related work
                          • Will try to lose some weight (actually lost 10 pounds last winter, but gained it back - hopefully can lose about 20 pounds and keep it off this time)

Mine just to save more. And I need to organize my bedroom/yarn stash. I kinda' have a problem with buying pretty sock yarn, but because my room is painted neon lime green I never want to knit with it.

                              Re: New Year's Resolutions?

                              I have a few New Year's resolutions

                              1. Read 1 book of my choice a month.
                              2. Cook at least 3 times a week.
                              3. Exercise at least 5 times a week for 30 minutes.

I have found, through my job, that if you set numbers to your goals it will help you achieve them and see your progress.

                              Happy New Year everyone.
