Earlier today our website got featured on a major Iranian Blog (Not Slash.org, but a similar website in Arabic). The resulting traffic has caused us to shut down our servers to protect against the "Slashdot effect" (crippling our server). We will likely be down for a day or so until the traffic subsides. As I said, it's in Arabic, so it's difficult to comprehend what the site actually is other than a Blog. I can PM you the site address if you're interested, but this is such a rare occurance and such an unlikely website to be linked from...

I don't think the intention was to crash the website, and it didn't crash the website, we just closed it for a period of time until that particular Blog entry wasn't at the top of the page anymore. I've PMed you the address if you're curious.
