  • Healthier Alternative for Botox?

So my mom is considering getting the dreaded "B" injection in her forehead. This worries me for several reasons. Also, it's temporary and pretty expensive. Has anybody had experience with maybe more natural topical or injection alternatives? I just don't really think Botox is the way for her to go.

What are you talking about? There's nothing better than injecting a military grade toxin directly into your face!
    What an idiot....

Yeah, I do that Twitter thing.

The healthiest alternative is aging gracefully. I'm not a big fan on injecting poison in my body unless needed for my health. I hope she finds another alternative.

I use a lot of anti wrinkle/firmer creams! They work wonders!

personally, I don't see anything wrong with a little nip/tuck here and there. If you have the money, and you're not obsessive over it, and you're doing it for you...not for someone else...why the heck not?

I think it's very sweet that you have such a concern for your mother's wellbeing. I think you should sit her down and tell her your concerns. If she still wants to try it....maybe it would ease your mind if you tagged along during her consult.

As long as she finds a reputable doctor, and follows directions to the "t". She should be fine.

She already looks darn young for her 51 years. She uses grapeseed oil on her face for moisturizer. Her skin is amazing. She just has this vertical line in her forehead between her brows. She wants to get it filled. I also am beginning to get the same line. Botox just isn't preventative, its a temporary fix. And it's poison. I've heard Hyaluronic Acid is a natural choice for wrinkles, but do not know anybody who has used that.
