  • Valentine's Day

So if you don't have a husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend or kids, what do you do on Valentine's day? Do you go out or stay home away from all the mushy stuff?

I secretly bought my mum a pink iPod shuffle for Valentine's Day. I'm so excited for when I give it to her.

I don't do Valentines Day. It's purely hype. I am going to see the movie Valentines Day with a bunch of girlfriends. I know, how cliche.

For a second I thought that you said, "If you don't have handcuffs..." )
I'm not planning on doing anything. Maybe just stay in, watch a romance movie and stuff my face with chocolate.

I just got out of a relationship, so I will be spending my Valentine's Day throwing darts at a picture of my ex. =D

Ive been with my boyfriend for 6 years, and the first 3 years we did the whole valentines day thing but soon realized how pointless it is. Restaurants are full, movie theaters are crowded so we stay in. We celebrate our love everyday no need for valentines day.:love::love::love::love:

Might go out to a dance club tomorrow and stay at home on Sunday to watch Fox Animation Domination and NBA All-Stars...since Football is gone.

                  Re: Valentine's Day

There are usually plenty of singles events going on to pop into, which is nice and fun because the added preasure of finding love on V-day makes both parties more open to flirting and such and less snooty.

                    Re: Valentine's Day

My Bf and I have been together for almost 16 year, but we do not do valentines day. It's pointless. I would not be with anyone who only showed me appreciation or love once a year, because they felt it was required.

I think most holidays are ridiculous, but I guess it gets people to spend money.

Being single is not a bad thing, right? Single people just have more fun and enjoy themselves.

                          Seriously.

I'm gardening tomorrow. My brother and sister-in-law are moving up tomorrow so I bought a cake that says "Welcome to WA!" with their names on it. I have sparkling wine from this area so... wooohhhhooo! Party!

This year I'm watchin' the Winter Olympics and enjoying Chinese New Year dinner at one of the local Chinese restaurants. Getting excited for my trip to Vancouver next week.

Wish they had decent single events where I live.
