  • Operation: Valentine

So this is the first year I have really taken Valentines day seriously, sure I did the whole valentine to all my classmates in elementary school, then maybe a card or two to my best friends. But to be frank my boyfriends usually got screwed because usually we were on the brink of breaking up with each other, so neither of us got anything.

This year is differnt, I am engaged and while last year we both worked, tomorrow we have the whole night together so this is my plan:

    there will be three stations:

    dinner

    bubble bath

    bedroom

    DINNER:
dinner will be candle lit and will be served:
    steak
ravioli's with the choice of 3 sauces (red, white and pesto)
    light green salad
    fresh french bread

there will be an envelop with a riddle that he will have to guess to help him with his next clue. (this will lead up to his gift)

    Bubblebath:
this will also be candlelit with maybe rose pettles in the tub?

there will be a second envelop with another riddle

    Bedroom:
    dessert will be served here:
    chocolate cream pie
    chocolate covered strawberries
sparkling apple cider (nope no booze for us)

he will be handed the third riddle here. if he can get it right he will recieve his gift
his gift is the new CD from angels and airwaves, titled:LOVE

what are you guys doing for your sweetheart tomorrow?

    Re: Operation: Valentine

Sounds perfect to me.....enjoy your first official Valentine's Day with your love!

Oh, and we're just going to dinner...romance tends to fade after many years, but it's still a special day for us.
Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,
it's what they are like in their HEART!

                  Re: Operation: Valentine

my bf thinks he's romantic, but really i can think of a 100 more romantic things than he can.

this will be our third valentine's day together. first one was the first time we dated. he got me a dozens roses and a teddy bear. at school. so i had to carry those things around all day. sure it was cute, but you try to put roses in a pe locker. overall it was ok. that's all we did. oh and i got him a small little dog with a hershey kiss attached to it.oh wait it was a beanie baby cause it had a name

second valentine's day: i just realize i'm going through all the valentine's days we spent. oh well i already started. anyways, we went to the movies and saw confessions of a shopaholic (yes i kinda made him) and i made a poem that was attached to a tube of tennis balls (they were pink so it fit with the theme of v-day)

this v-day: i'm going to his house, he's gonna make us dinner and i make a side dish (if i feel like it cause everything he's making has garlic in it) and then afterwards we're most likely gonna watch the amazing race. i know. exciting.

really i'm hoping he does something better when he actually has a job so he has money
