The Midget Autopia was relocated to this park as a gift from Walt. It has since been removed, but the track's path and the queue area still remain:

                  The Lamplighter Inn

This motel has 13 wonderful and "quaint" rooms:

Our room was very cozy with a lot of country decor. Donald Duck comic books were for sale at the motel's front desk for only 50 cents each. I liked the one I bought so much, the manager let me pick out some more as a "welcoming gift".

                      The Walt Disney Hometown Museum

No photos were allowed inside the museum, but the artifacts were incredible. And the volunteer curators are very informative and friendly. But, I was able to get a photo outside with a couple stuffed friends:

                        Mickey goes for a climb:

                        Daydreaming just like Walt:

I could sit there all day:

                        Looking up into the heavens:

This tree is a splendorous sight to behold. The pictures don't do her justice. I would love to visit her many times throughout my life, but according to the museum staff, she's dying, and isn't expected to be around much longer. :crybye: She's well over 100 years old, and has suffered severe lightning damage. I brought home a leaf she had dropped while I sat there. I will always remember her fondly. :gladsad:
