  • Where do you live - outside of the United States.?

I have finished asking about the 50 states of the United States. For any MiceChatters, who live in other places, please tell us about your home cities and countries.

Perhaps you are from Canada. Is Mexico your home? My grandson asked about possible MiceCatters from Puerto Rico? How far around the globe do MiceChatters chat from?

    Tell us about your homefront.

Re: Where do you live - outside of the United States.?

I'm from the beautiful city of Vancouver, British Columbia. Weather is mild here compared to other parts of the country. People complain that it rains here alot but in order for the trees and the grass to be green we have to have the rain.

We actually had a beautiful sunny day yesterday. My boss took the staff up to Grouse Mountain for brunch where we were able to walk on the crisp snow and do some outdoor ice skating.

Although we usually don't get a white Christmas here, we do have 4 distinctive seasons for the year which is nice. With the back drop of the mountains and the water, it makes for great photo ops. We will also be hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics which the city is now preparing for.

Vancouver is also known for being the melting pot of Canada as we have many people who migrated from other countries living here now (my parents were immigrants). We have been able to embrace and celebrate the different cultures and traditions that they bring along with them.

Last but not least we are also the home of Michael Buble who is such a hottie and Rob Feenie who beat Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto on Iron Chef America this year.

We haven't finished up the US yet!

We can still break it down into Cities, Townships, Counties, Streets, and Homes!!!

I'll try and find some good pics and I think there is a website dedicated to Vancouver, will try and find a link for it. Glad your mom loved it here.

I found some online postcards and I've included the link for it. You have to choose Vancouver in the drop down box in the Choose an Image from this City. There is also a virtual tour available which is the second link. Wishing everyone a great holiday season!

I'm from Mexico. I live in Chihuahua city, the capital of Chihuahua, the biggest state. It's in the middle of the dessert so winters are very cold and summers, extremely hot. I'm 300km away from El Paso, TX. and many many more from Disneyland. It's a small city but there's plenty to do here.
