i just had to vent all of this exitement on someone and you guys are it... i got my drivers permit today... yay.... after three months of studying i finally got it and now i can start learning how to drive (yay)

well... i had my first driving lesson the other day
as my dad was taking me to a parking lot my neighbor waved to my dad and i whispered to him part of the jungle cruise spihiel

Congrats. Remember the sidewalks are only for use when there is traffic ahead and 5 cop cars with lights blazing are tailing you. I learned that from personal experience :lol:









Of course that personal experience is from the times I sat down and watched "World's Scariest Police Chases" and playing "Grand Theft Auto;San Andreas" on the PS2. Sheesh, I'm really not evil....just play one on TV :lol:

Congrats. My second oldest daughter will be getting her permit soon.

I'll tell you what I told her:

1. Never drive angry.
2. Always plan ahead - leave early if possible. Easier to be early than late, and is less stressful.
3. Always use your turn signals. (real pet peeve for me - esp on freeways)
4. Do not do anything else but drive if you are behind the wheel. This includes makeup, using the cell phone, reading the paper (I've seen it done), etc.
5. Relax!
