It is so strange to me, when a person with the last name Disney appears in a context that has nothing to do with the brand "Disney." Abigail Disney is the granddaughter of Roy Disney, (Walt, Disney's brother). But she has made a name for herself as a documentary film maker. She even has her own Wikipedia page. She appeared tonight on one of the news shows I watch. I could not even pay attention to what they were discussing, because I was just fascinated that she was a Disney, and it was all I could think of. I guess that having the name Disney is a blessing and a curse, because it might be hard for people to take you seriously. And it might be hard to have a normal conversation with anyone, without them asking you all about Disney.
I wonder what it is like for people who have the last name Disney and are in no way even related to Disney. It is not the most common name, but there are people out there with the last name Disney.
