I know I haven't been around much lately. However I wanted to take this time to wish MiceChat a Happy 1st Anniversary! Thanks to all the Mod's and their helpers for all you do to make this the best Disney site on the net!

I know my other hobbies have kept me off the board for a little while but I'll be back. I promise not to be a total stranger.

Just a quick note. I just got back from the celebration! It was great!

I was a little late out the gate, so I missed the meet at the picnic area.

Got inside, saw Dustysage, and others going towards the Main Street Train Depot, well, since I don't do stairs, I went over to the NOS station to wait for the train. I waited, and waited, and waite some more. I really got a lead on the train. Anyway, as I was just about to give up, in it rolled. So I rolled up the ramp, and saw that it appeared that there was only one car with passengers, but it was full of MC'ers, and somewhat surprised to see me. They had room, so I parked the scooter, and climbed on. We continued around, and go to the ToonTown Station, and lo-and-behold, here were 6 more MC'ers, so they crammed into the car with us (always room for more). There may have been a couple of others on the train besides us, but I'm not sure. Anyway, we continued our journey on to Tomorrowland Station, and well, there was Morrigoone. One more, squeeze in, make room, and she was on. Great ride, on through the Grand Canyon and back to Main Street, where others were waiting to board> I really wonder what they thought seeing an empty train, except for one car (run away, run away fast!).

Next was Breakfast at the Riverbell Terrace, picked up about 10 more (wow, what a group). Breakfast, chatting, and some folks made a Pirates run before the Mark Twain. Just before 11 AM, we mosied over to the Mark Twain, (well, I rolled) and got in line for the 11 AM journey around the Rivers of America! Naturally as many as could crowded into the front of the first level (gee, what to do with the rest of the boat). A CM cam forward, and said "Looks like a party!" (he was right). Completed the circle tour of Tom Sawyer Island, thne exited the Twain. Some folks headed for the BTMRR and Some for the Matterhorn, Me and some otheres took a pit stop and on to the hub.

By*noon the hub was jammed with MC'ers. We visited for awhile, the some folks had a grup shot in front of the Castle. Long about 12:30, time for LUNCH!

Lunched at Plaza Inn, food an conversation, and then I left just before 2 PM.

I had a great time, wish everyone could have been there!
