  • Tax Return Cha Ching $

Well what ya doin with your return that is to say if you got one? I was thinking of starting a business. Low overhead and a good return, not to mention from home. I hate working for the man, I want to make the money and keep it for me.
So what plans do we nice folk of MC have with their hard earned moolah?

I'm going to murder one of my credit cards with it. Pay it off and cut it up.

I might head down to Disneyland with my five year old, or I might get to pay for a new sidewalk in front of our other house! :yea: Which would YOU do?? :botox:

I really want to do my mommy and me trip with Chloe, but we also have to replace that freaking sidewalk.

A Mickey Mouse shaped sidewalk. Or go to Disneyland carrying a bag of cement all day.

Okay, new plan. What if you wait until someone trips and falls on your sidewalk and then you get your homeowners insurance to pay for it?

I didn't say it was a good plan.

I'll be paying bills with my refund, should I get one this year. :beg:

Bwahaha, our insurance agent already told us that it needs to be fixed, so if someone falls and is hurt....it's already on file that we've been warned that it's a hazard. We're screwed, gotta fix it....but I'm wondering how the cement-carrying at Disneyland will go over with the City?

It'll be one of those, "stinkerbell, you just bought a butt-load of cement you don't want, what are you going to do now?"

Me (all tears and cheers): "I'M GOING TO DISNEYLAND!!!" and then I high five the bag of cement, and pour a thing of Gatorade over it. Then cue the cute montage of the bag of cement and me on Dumbo, and the cement meeting Mickey for the first time.....

Or I could do both....cheaply.

We're paying off bills( goodbye $250 a month medical bill!) and putting away a little for our trip to DL so we can have some extra fun.

Man-o-man, here's hoping we get a refund this year. :beg: We wound up paying Federal with State, and a little more, last year. If we do, then I might finally see a deck in my backyard...or at least the beginnings of one.

I'm blowing it all in Vegas, baby! :greedy:
                        Good morning, son
                        In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
                        It was pain
                        Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Re: Tax Return Cha Ching $

I'm not really sure. Part of it will fund our June family reunion trip. Part of it will probably fund a Mommy and Girls trip to Disneyland.

We need the tree in the backyard removed because we are having a pool put in and that company wants WAY to much to remove it. And where it's at would be too much stuff falling into the pool. So, it must go but I will find someone to do it cheaply like $200, I'm sure. Once the pool is done, our entire yard seriously needs to have sod layed down but I don't know how much that is or what we'll really do yet.

Other things we need to do/done: Two broken windows, professional carpet cleaning, entertainment center, new dining room table, new computer desk, pool toys/floats, table and chairs for out there by the pool, fire pit for by the pool, dentist appointments, eye appointments, new shoes, new clothes and my July Disneyland trip.

Obviously, we aren't getting enough back to do all of that but we'll prioritize it once we know how much we have and work from there. We are making an appointment to go get them done tomorrow :yea: I can't wait!!
