  • Backyard coasters....

check out what these people did in their backyards!

These photos have given me an idea of a ride of my own, it isn't a coaster but something similar, all my backyard is missing is a ride, it has a water fall, water show, light show, but no rides, i have summer plans for building a central axis ride. It has a simple gear motor on a base with a large pole rising out from above, it will then have a long arm and henges that come outward where the car will being hanging from, the henges will give it the ability to move up and down, Then I will have a simple track with simple hills and drops, the long arm on the ride will have a small pole coming down to the track, so as the ride spins, the track will make the car also move up and down, it is a simple ride, and by my estimates shouldn't cost over 1,000 dollars, Heck the blue coaster above only cost 1,500!

That would be fun no doubt!

that blue coster looks amazingly scary! there's no way i'd go on that thing...it just looks kinda...fragile? looks like that blue one's called the "blue flash" (look in the background of the last bluse coster picture). but i wouldn't mind having a roller coster in my backyard. that would rock!

remember kids, if the picture isn't on your website you shouldn't actually have the pictures up. That's called leeching and just ends up costing more for the person hosting the original poster. Plus it's just rude.

That said, here is the guy's site for the "Blue Flash" (the blue one :lol it even has a video.

here is the site for the second wooden coaster.

So thank you very little and send me postcards from hell"

Havn't seen the video yet, but the blue one kinda scares me, and I LOVE roller coasters, but did you see the seat?!?! I can't imagine how that's safe?? (maybe that's just the mommy in me)
