  • Unfortunate Children's Books

Well, I've seen fake pictures of children's book covers which are quite funny. But, I have finally found a *real* book that I just can't stop laughing over:

    Walter

And, apparently, it's a whole series. This dog has a lot of adventures.....

Has anyone else seen books that raise an eyebrow?

We have that book. My dad loves to buy my boys any books that have to do with farts, burps or anything of that nature.

Shawn's favorite book for a long time was Everyone Poops we also have The Gas We Pass but he was never really into that one as much.

My dad also got Kyler the book The Day My Butt Went Psycho and he loved it.

Yes, my dad is a doofus

I adore irrevernt children's books. My favorite is The Adventures of Super Diaper Baby.

Luckily, I get to work with books and kids every day since I'm a children's librarian. The BEST job in the whole wide world! (well, being an imagineer might the best, but I'm not qualified engineering-wise for that one)
I think someone has left the shower running ...

Oooh, I remember reading this book called Grossology so many times when I was younger, it even had fake dried up vomit on the cover! It's where I learned that it IS okay to drink urine if it is less than a couple of minutes old.

Very funny! There seems to be a Fart Renaissance going on in the past few years. I was looking for a birthday card at Sav-On last week and there was a whole section of fart themed cards.

The Discovery Museum in Santa Ana (just down the freeway from Disneyland) does special children's exhibits and a few years ago raised more than a few eyebrows by doing a "Fart Exhibition For Kids."

Perhaps Disney would be wise in buying the rights to the Walter books and give them to the animators. It could be a "whole new world" for the Animation Division! Imagine the soundtrack alone!!

I can totally imagine a theme song for "Beauty and the Feast":

Pass that gas! Pass that gas!
                          Let flatulence out fast
Just bend over, aim your butt, cherie
And blow it out your ***

That's like something Strong Bad would use.
