Anyone out there have an idea when the slowest time to go to DL would be. We used to go all the time, but it has been a few years and my children are getting antsy. We don't want to stand in long lines or deal with a lot of hot weather. Our favorite time to go was in February-but we don't want to wait that long if we don't have to.

I always liked October- nice and slow...... and this year, you won't have to deal with as much down time for refurbishments because of the 50th party.Check out the News Forum for the latest news with a Micechat twist!

October is when we're going. I just hope the rumors of PotC being closed for rehab/refurb during that time frame is just that - a Rumor!
September is the next fave month to go, but HM is down for the Holiday Mansion overlay for most of that month...
The VERY best time we had at DL was going the first week of December. The holiday stuff was all out, and nobody does Christmas better than Disney.
Of course if you Can't wait, go in the last of April/first of May. (THIS year, tho, it may be a Lot more crowded earlier in the summer!)
War is over if you want it...

Mom, I am pretty sure they won't close anything during the 50th- so we should be able to have everything open until October 2006 (unless something breaks down
I agree with you about Christmas. The most fun we EVER had at the park was in January while the Christmas stuff was still out (well, we also got engaged, so that might have had something to do with it, but it takes on just that much more magic (especially the snow)Check out the News Forum for the latest news with a Micechat twist!

Ohhh, the snow. It makes me cry! Love it.*sniff*
The very beginning of Dec. and right after the New Year are very nice and Christmasy. There never seems to be a slow time anymore though. Anyone else notice this?I give myself very good advice, but I very seldom follow it.That explains the trouble that I'm always in...sigpic

I noticed that last time I was there. It was supposed to be a slower season (end of April, beginning of May) and during the week it wasn't too bad, but on the weekend it was CRAZY.
I'll be going in early November. I believe IASM will be closed for the holiday changeover, but I'll deal with that.Otherwise, everything is scheduled to be open and there might even be some Christmas decorations up. I've been in early December and that's a pretty good time as well, usually anyways. I have a feeling that no matter when you go this year, it's going to be busy.
