  • Is your spouse/partner/boyfriend/girlfriend as into Disney as you are?

Just curious how many of us have a significant other in our lives that are as into Disney and the parks as much as we are.

Some of us, yea we already know the answer to this question (Dphile/FrodoP, Cuzco/E.T.). But for those of us who arent Micechatter couples, what's your answer?

Me, well, I just started dating somone and lets put it this way, he wasn't too into Disney or the parks at ALL. His best friend ever came to visit a few months back and she is total Micechat material, loves everything Disney, and he wouldnt even take her to D-land

BUT, I brought him to the parks last Sunday for his first trip there and he liked it so much he ended up buying a Deluxe AP! See how seductive I can be Plus I think after meeting all my cool friends he decided he wanted to hang out with them too, and the fact that if he didnt get a pass he might not see me much on weekends - lol.

So what about that special person in your life? Whats their story?

Mine doesn't, I don't think he had been more than once before we got tohgether. Well, I made up for that
He's overruled now because the boys are DLaholics like me We have it down to a science nowadays though, he sleeps in we hit rope drop, we ride coasters he shops. If I go to meets 8 times out of 10 I go without him. It works out well and he has much more "mouse appreciation" now

But Onud, I  to your powers of persuasion!

Nope. He likes DL but his favorite theme park is Sea World. He is now overruled like Dmom's man. If you ask where Lil LL wants to go her answer is always "Disneyland." )

I'm not nearly as much of a Disney or DL freak as many of the rest of you are, and my wife is about average when it comes to being a Disney/DL fan.

But she allows me this MiceChat time thing, and doesn't mind me going alone if I now want to go to the parks quite as much as she does.

And I think I'm married to the greatest and most beautiful gal alive, and she puts up with my many faults, so I feel pretty lucky....

Why yes, my imaginary boyfriend LOVES Disneyland! In fact, he's there right now, as I toil away at work.

Ah, does this mean I've finally cracked?
          Good morning, son
          In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
          It was pain
          Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Yes, not only is Xavier a huge fan of the parks, but he is the one who brought it back into my life. when we met, i had not been to the park in about 8 or 9 years, mainly due to funds and no one to go with. we quickly became addicted to the park and to each other. i think if he had more free time he would like MC as well, but in some ways it is nice to have a place of my own. when i was getting max dressed this morning he asked if we were going to disneyland, it has become a weekly question. im sooo proud.

My wife isn't a micechatter person... but she is just as much of a Disneyland nut as I am, if not more.

But we met while working at Disney World, so, you know, it was meant to be.

Unfortunately my husband is not a DL fan. I am succeeding on making the twins big fans, though, so once they are a bit older, the 3 of us will go without him!

Jimmie is into Disney as much or more than I am. We were married wearing Mickey Mouse watches and honeymooned at the Disneyland Hotel. (This was way back in 1976.) We used to visit once every 12-18 months until we got our first APs on our 2004 anniversary. Now it's 3-4 visits a year.

She's not a MiceChatter, but she likes the people we've met at the meets and we are both looking forward to spending more time with MCers next month and in October.

My boyfriend is no where near as big as a Disney fan as I am, but he's told me because of my influence he's grown to love it again. We love going to WDW together to relax.

Yeah, in fact Bear is the one who brought me back to DL after 13 year absence. He also introduced me to MiceChat even though he doesn't post himself.

The Wolfpack are true Disney fanatics!!!!! Thank goodness! Wolfman doesn't appreciate the Park that much, but then again, he doesn't really like rides (or holding purses all day). Heck it was his idea to offer up the WDW Micechat trip.....
