  • Baby boom?

Now, maybe it's just me... but it seems like everyone around me is either pregnant or newly delivered of a baby. Is there a baby boom going on right now that nobody's talking about?

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

We just got through the baby stage - the last one should be born anyday. I'm just trying to stay away - hoping it's not contagious!

This is SO FUNNY because I was just talking about this with someone the other day.

I know there's been a baby boom in my immediate family. There's been 3 kids born to my nieces since Nov. 2003 with one more due this November. I honestly think part of it is the price of life and keeping ourselves entertained. It's so expensive to do things these days and, well, this is free so.....

                          Re: Baby boom?

In our office, we have one person who is pregnant with her first child, another one who may be pregnant (tests say no but she is showing every single symptom and then some) and another who is trying to get pregnant.

The funniest thing is that in our local folklore - things like this comes in threes so there are the five other girls who are hoping and praying that it works out for those three because that means "we" are safe. Of course other people say "It's in the water"
 Always keep smiling because you never know who is falling in love with it.

Hmmm, must be a local thing. I don't know of anyone (except TinkPink and Mrs. TicToc) who are expecting right now.

Or do I? Who wants to fess up????

Marge: Barnacle Bill's Home Pregnancy Test? Homer, shouldn't we have gone with a better-known brand?
Homer: But Marge, this one came with a corn-cob pipe!
Marge: [reading from the test box] "Ahoy, Maties! If the water turns blue, a baby for you! If purple ye see, no baby thar be!"
Homer: So, which is it? Blue or purple?
                              Marge: Pink.
                              Homer: D'oh!
Marge: "If ye test should fail, to a doctor set sail!"
