  • Alfred toy looks like Maynard!

Hey so I am a toy collector and this week I picked up some new Batman figures and one of them is an Alfred Pennyworth toy- you know Bruce Wayne's British Man Servant. Well anyway as I was looking at it, it occured me that the toy bore a striking resemblance to Maynard in his Haunted Mansion garb

I want to take two figures to Disneyland when I know he is working there and get a photo with him and the toy and give one to him!

Depends on which version- typically in Batman comic books he appears- well very much like Maynard or that toy-sometimes with or without glasses.

            Batman Animated Version

            Comic book version

Alfred Pennyworth is a fascinating chracter- a former army medic turned close friend, guardian and father figure to Bruce Wayne, he remains the sources of Batman's humanity.

Maynard remains a source of joy to countless guests. I found this one today and its priceless. God Bless that man!

Maybe my eyes are tired, but I'm just not seeing the resemblance.

I have also never had a Maynard experience live although I did get his voice over the phone one day while talking to Disneyphile from NJ while she was at Tiki
I will save the princess, though I do not know the way.

It's more than likely the reseeding hair line, slim figure, and mustache.

Maynard is completely overrated. While he is a great guy, and he is funny, I don't feel he deserves so much praise that any Disneyland enthusiest knows who he is.
