  • Looking to buy/rent in Kissimmee area. Advice, ideas, etc?

I have been toying around with the idea of moving to the Kissimmee area for some time and now I am getting more serious about it.

I figure the first year or so I would be renting, probably just myself and my girlfriend, but I would be looking for something with two bedrooms. I know the area relatively well, but not as well as someone who lives there so I was hoping for some tips. So far, the area N of 192 between the turnpike and John Young seems apealing as it is in the mess of things without having as much thru traffic as other areas. Also of interest is the area just SW of the parks, closer to 27 and whatnot. I dont mind being out in the burbs a bit so long as I am not far form what I need. Work will likely keep me in either the kissimmee area or winter park, and I dont particulary want to live in winter park.

    Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions?
