  • You learn something new every day!

Today was the first day of my comparative politics class. The teacher gave us a quiz. Some of the questions and answers were interesting so I thought I would share. First I will post the questions and then a little later I will post the answers.

1-Can women drive in the Islamic Republic of Iran?

2-What country currently offers four different types of legally recognized consensual adult pair-bonds to it's citizens (marriage, registered partnership, non-contracting cohabitation, etc)?

3-True or False, Moscow is second only to NYC in it's number of billionaires?

4-According to public opinion surveys, who it the most popular Western leader in post- Saddam Hussein's Iraq?

5- According to Tansparency International, what country ranks as the world's least corrupt?

Ok, looks like no one wants to attempt an answer at these so here it goes.

1- Yes. In Saudi Arabia they can not.
    2- The Netherlands
3- False, they are actually ranked #1
    4- Jacques Chirac!
    5- Finland
