The only thing I got for doing homework, was an education.
Marijuana wouldn't have done it for me, but beer and women............

at the time it was really cool...LOL..but I gotta say....when I hit 21 I didn't even want to drink. I think I had half a glass of wine...LOL...it wasn't all my mother though. When I was 16 my sister was 21 and my parents were gone EVERY weekend...
however, I do not buy alcohol for my 15 year old child. I've never even thought to...maybe because I don't drink at home. The last time I had alcohol was back in december 2005. ...and that was at the lounge in GCH.

When people are found in the trunk of a car, it is usually not a good thing.
But Christina Novak had seven kids she was trying to get to a birthday pizza party and a car that could hold only five.
So, authorities said, the Mechanicsville mom allowed her 13-year-old birthday boy and one of his friends to hop into the trunk of her Pontiac Bonneville for a 5-mile ride to the restaurant.
In case you're wondering, that is against the law.
Hanover Sheriff's Office Sgt. Mike Trice said a motorist spotted the two trunk passengers climbing out of the car when Novak stopped at the Virginia Credit Union to use the drive-thru ATM machine at Mechanicsville Turnpike and Creighton Parkway.
The boys climbed back in and closed the trunk when they realized they were at a bank and not at CiCi's Pizza. The motorist notified police, who later tracked down Novak at her Whipper Lane home after the party.
Trice said Novak was cooperative during the investigation, which resulted in her being arrested and charged Friday night with two counts of felony child endangerment.
"I don't know that she understood the extent to which we were going to address it," said Trice, who said the unconventional pizza run endangered the children.
Novak, 48, was formally arraigned yesterday. She could not be reached for comment last night.
During an earlier interview with NBC-12, she insisted that she was a good mother and said the trunk transport was the kids' idea because they didn't want to sit on each other's lap in the car.
"I know it was a bad decision," she said.
Growing older is manditory
Growing up is however, optional
Maybe she didn't want to make her kid do anything she wouldn't? )

After working in public education for pushing 30 years... these storys don't surprize me. You would be surprized at some of the things kids admit to doing or to their parents doing. And while we realize not all of it is true, and a lot is blown out of proportion, to much of it really happens.
