    Avatar Theme of the Week - What happened?

    During the spring/summer of 2005 MiceChatters were often talking and "wearing" their avatar of the week to match the theme. While doing a search for something I came across one of these threads that was vote for the avatar of the week theme and it made me reflect a bit. :cwink:

    Our last avatar theme was this spring with the purple sheets with the Haunted Mansion changes at Disneyland. Other past themes/ideas included Star Wars, toilets, Batman, Bands, Michael Jackson, Monty Phython, and other quite random or pop culture/dated event themes.

    My question to all of you is this, where did it go? This was fun? Why must it stop? We can still be unique in our avatars within the theme. I say it's time for another weekly avatar theme!

    So... start naming some ideas so that we can make a vote! :thumbup:



    IDEAS SO FAR:

    - Jack Skellington
    - Uncle Walt
    - The Little Mermaid (it's coming out on DVD Oct 3!)
    - Haunted Mansion Holiday
    - Gumballs & Disney - in honor of the Gumball Rally.

    Yaarrrgggh ... if "Talk like a Pirate" day wouldn't be ending in one turn of ye hourglass I'd say that ... I know me swabby Jack Skellington be taking over the pretty mansion on the banks of the river soon, perhaps our dead friends from Nightmare Before Christmas can be the next theme ...

      I enjoyed those themes! I did take a little flack for my Space Mountain entry in the toilet theme, but I'd love to resurrect the idea!

                      Critter Country's a mess ev'r since the Country Bears were kicked out. Ya can't cover pooh with honey and 'spect people ta like it.

                            PotC was the last theme we had... that was when the movie was released to theaters. In fact, I haven't changed the avatar yet from that theme.
