Re: New Safe Tattoo Ink!????
TLT (Time Limited Tattoo)
The world’s first non-permanent tattoo option! TLT allows consumers the freedom of self-expression without the long-term commitment associated with traditional tattoo inks. TLT tattoos and body art will fade on a pre-determined time-release schedule. These high-tech inks created using safe, biocompatible materials are the first of their kind. TLT is the first non-permanent tattoo option that is truly a tattoo; applied in a manner consistent with today’s current application technology. However, TLT does not require laser treatment for removal; the scientifically formulated ink will simply disappear on a pre-determined time-release schedule.

Although I am sure that home-made inks and those not made for commercial tattoo use can contain harmful materials there is more risk from unclean needles and dirty conditions. Also, what if it did not fade evenly and you were stuck with half a tattoo for a longer period of time.
Could this be like Henna? Interesting but I think I will stick to the traditional method. If I am going to spend the time and money (tattoos are not cheap) then I want it to be around for a long time.

Re: New Safe Tattoo Ink!????
Only one of the inks listed is designed to fade with time. The other is designed to be permanent. If it does negate allergic reactions, it would be a break through for some of us. I would love to have a tattoo, have had designs picked out for years but can't because of my allergies.A bit of evil lurks in your heart, but you hide it well.
In some ways, you are the most dangerous kind of evil.

Re: New Safe Tattoo Ink!????
bejeweledcat---I too, suffer from many allergies...but, after talking to my Dermatologist, decided that a tattoo with only black ink would be okay. He told me that red and yellow ink are the ones most people are allergic to, and hardly anybody experiences allergic reactions to black ink. So, I got my first tattoo on my lower back the 3rd of Jan...after 6 months..I hadn't had any problems, in fact, it healed really quick. But, I noticed it was slightly raised. During another doctor appt. I asked the doc what that was..know what she said? A slight allergic reaction. Haha. I should have known this would happen. Doesn't hurt...it's just slightly raised. Kinda 3D. She just said to watch it...in case it turns red, etc. So, I'll have to think looong and hard about getting the other ones I wanted.
This ink would be cool. Then, I could get my other tattoos.
