Re: Fox and the hound
There was a second one?"I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. "Groucho Marx

Re: Fox and the hound
Not to pooh on your excitement, tassie, but I really don't like all these Disney sequels! They depress me and they're always bad movies. Unless Corey Feldman is little again to do Copper's voice, I don't want to hear it.
The Fox and the Hound was my favorite movie when I was little and my favorite guilty pleasure video in college. I could watch it again and again and still well up during "The Best of Friends."

As for me, I curse whoever decided to cheapen Disney's name with these low quality, make 'em 'cause you know someone's going to buy 'em, rip off the classics, sequels.
:thumbdown
Greedy bastards.

Re: Fox and the hound
I think I'm gonna be sick.
Fox and the Hound is my all-time fave Disney movie (I know the whole thing by heart). I can't believe they bastardized it with yet another sequel. Yet my curiousity will get the better of me and I'll end up renting it because I adore Tod and Copper.

I sure did. I'm not a pin collector really but I couldn't pass up the 25th anniversary pin when I saw it last month.

Re: Fox and the hound
Yeah, I got Little Mermaid tats too!!
SO EXITED for this! Fox and Hound is one of my most favorites!Good morning, son
In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
It was pain
Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Re: Fox and the hound
Yeah Corey Feldman did young Copper. Kurt Russell did his adult voice. I forget who did young Tod, but Mickey Rooney did his adult voice. And of course the infamous Paul Winchell (aka Tigger) did Boomer the woodpecker.

Re: Fox and the hound
the original Fox and the Hound comes out next tuesday (October 10th).
As for the sequel, I think I'm gonna go with the "If you can't say sumptin' nice, don't say anythin' at all" approach.
I AM way excited for the original to come out on DVD though (even though the cover looks almost as bad as the Dumbo "big top" edition *shudders).
