  • Popcorn!

I love it, it's one of my favorite foods. Do you like it? Got a particular flavor of popcorn you like best?

I really like the pour-over cheddar popcorn available in the grocery store. The cinnamon popcorn is great as well.

      Re: Popcorn!

      I love popcorn.

So does my corgi. She even knows how to say it in French and ASL.

I paved my way through high school and college working at movie theatres. I made popcorn a gazillion times a day. Now my partner? His parents owned a bakery. He, therefore, isn't thrilled about cookies and cakes as I am. He was around it all the time.

But me? I was around popcorn constantly. And I STILL love it. I order a large each and every time I go to the movies.

And when I go to Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom. I don't do it at Epcot. There's too much ethnic goodies to indulge in.

      Peace and poppin'!

Have always loved popcorn. Movie theater(Orville Redenbacher)
        Kettle corn, homemade.
        Cheese, and Caramel.
A light snack for sure when I get home late.

Yep, can't watch a movie in the theatre w/o my bucket of popcorn!

I'll have to look for the cinnamon kind. Haven't heard of that.

          I looooove cinnamon!

(when I stay at the Residence Inn, I make cinnamon waffles. I get a few looks from the folks waiting in line, but I have also seen some of them sprinkle it on their batter too! hehe)

Oooh I forgot about kettle corn! That's delicious. I believe a place in Downtown Disney sells kettle corn from heaven, it's amazing and cheaper than popcorn at the parks!

Movie theatre popcorn with extra butter, cheese flavored (esp white cheddar), carmel... KETTLE CORN! I remember this popcorn place in California in the 80's called Culpepper Popcorn that had AWESOME popcorn. My uncle who lives out there used to send us big tins of it for Christmas.

I only like chedder popcorn, esp. the kind you buy in the big tubs at Christmas....not real big on popcorn otherwise. My dad is a popcorn nut...so, is my daughter..she loves that colored popcorn you get at the mall...that stuff's gross..tastes like Lucky Charms. Blah...but, she's 3..anything candy coated is good at that age.

Movie theatre popcorn with extra butter (but not the kind out here, it's too salty)
Kettle corn (but only from the outlet stores outside Columbus, it's the best i've ever tasted!!!)

Cinnabon popcorn was good, but got sick of it after awhile.

Kettle Corn for me too! When we lived in Phoenix, we used to go to the Phoenix Zoo almost daily - you could get a kids bag for $1.00 - my son and I would just get popcorn and wander for an hour.

                              Great, now I'm hungry.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm! I LOVE popcorn. It's my ultimate guilty pleasure, far more than cake or ice cream. But it can't be movie theater or microwaved, and definitely NO BUTTER (yuck!). I like my popcorn the old-fashioned way, popped fresh in a pot, with plenty of salt and hot sauce, or chili powder....

                                Is it lunchtime yet?

Back in high school I took a class on accident called NEWS -- I wanted to go into journalism at the time and failed to do my research! The class was "Nutrition, Exercise, Weight and Self Management" or something like that. My first clue was when I got my schedule and it was in the home-ec area of the building! Anyway, I stayed in the class because I didn't have a choice (other than take some other random elective). On Fridays we watched movies and the teacher had this thing about healthy snacks (go figure!) Her snack of choice was OJ and Popcorn - sprinkled lightly with parmesan cheese (the green canister kind). I still LOVE that on my popcorn!

I also enjoy fresh kettle corn and the honey popcorn when I can find it.
I love my awesome crazy wonderful friends!!

Butter and salt and Kettle corn.

How do you make your popcorn:

The old fashioned way...oil in a pot heat with two or three kernels of corn, add the rest of the popcorn after those pop?

                                      In a microwave.

                                      In a popcorn popper.

                                      In an air popper.

Already popped from the store (our local Longs carries prepopped Kettle corn that is to die for)
                                      Boo!
