  • In desperate need of a great breakfast recipe!

Okay, I posted this in the Belles and Beaus, and I know they'll help - but, not too many are online tonight.

So, I got invited to a breakfast/recipe exchange party for Tuesday. Well, I don't do fancy breakfast - at least nothing that takes a recipe! So, I need your help! Gimme something! Anything!

I like my breakfast simple, this is one of my favorite.

            You need:
            2 slices of bread
            2 ex large eggs
            4 sausage links
            fresh fruit
            fry pan
            toaster
            biscuit cutter

            1. cut fruit to your liking
            2. cook sausage links
            3. lightly toast bread
            4. using biscuit cutter, cut out a hole in the center of each slice of bread
            5. place bread in fry pan (hot)
            6. crack egg in to the center of bread
            7. if sun side up, remove bread with egg when done. if you want both sides cooked carefully flip bread over without breaking yolk.

You now have egg in a whole, sausage links and fruit. I like to break the yolk and use the extra bread center cut out for dipping.

Very simple but it is better than cold cereal.

Place a piece of bread into the toaster.
                      Toast.
Remove toasted bread from said toaster.
Apply any numerous toppings to toast, like butter, jams and jellies, and even peanut butter.

                      ENJOY!!

                        Mmmm... great recipe

                        Scrambles are really easy.
My hubbie makes an egg scrample with cheddarwurst links in it, then eats it on a tortilla
just beat the eggs with a little milk, scramble with sliced cheddarwurst, then place some on warmed tortilla.

Monkey Bread - It's very easy and very tasty!

4 pack buttermilk biscuit cans (10 biscuits in each)

                          1 cup butter

                          3/4 cup brown sugar

                          2/3 cup of white sugar

                          1 teaspoon of cinnamin

cut biscuits into quarters, mix white sugar and cinn. together. Toss biscuit pieces in the mixture. set aside.

Melt brown sugar and butter together, arrange biscuit pieces in a bunt pan and drizzle butter mixture over each layer.

Bake at 350 for 1/2 hour and it's YUMMY - enjoy!

here is mine, simple but the best
(more so at 4am after a night on the tiles)

                              one pan breakfast,
fry sausages in a frying pan on a low heat,
                              add bacon,
                              add mushrooms,
                              add tomatoes (if desired)
when its all cooked, split items into sections within the pan (ie if cooking for four make sure eveyone has a bit of something)
                              turn up heat
crack two eggs per person into the pan and swirl the white around
crack pepper onto the yolks and shove the pan under the grill for a few miniutes (depending on how you take your eggs)

slice into sections, slide onto plate
serve with toast and feel your arteries clog.
