Smart Dog Walks to Hospital After Being Hit By Car

An injured 6-year-old German shepherd mix walked himself into a hospital emergency room after apparently being struck by a car, according to animal control officials.

Buddy the dog limped into emergency at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Bellflower Wednesday and laid down in the waiting area at about 1 p.m., security officer Daniel Carrillo told the Whittier Daily News.
