Are You Superstitious?

I don't fall into Superstitious belief much. I own black cats and have no bad luck, I don't break mirrors because I don't have money to replace them, and I don't walk under ladders because I am to tall.

Are you superstitious and where do you think these superstitions started?

I'm not superstitious...but I really hate working on friday the 13th, because other people are and turn into complete freaks and I do not have the patience to deal with complete freaks...LOL..also when the moon is full people act a bit more freaky...not my favorite day to work...well, I don't mind workign if I don't have to deal with people and as long as it is slow I don't have to deal with people...

I guess wearing an Italian horn would qualify me as superstitious...I think. I am about some things, but a lot of the common stuff that you mentioned don't phase me.

I am sometimes. Im pretty paranoid about going out on the 13th.(I dont mean outside, I mean out for the evening, like drinking and such.)

No superstitions here. I am so NOT superstitious that I wanted to actually have my wife schedule her cesarean section for this Friday, October 13 - but the hospital doesn't schedule them on Friday's - so next Wednesday will have to do.....(ho hum).

I not superstitous at all matter a fact I will do all knid of superstitious no no's this Friday just to bug my superstitious friends at work. I look forward to all Friday the 13ths it's a fun day for me. I have studied many superstions though for school very fascinating stuff indeed.

Strangely, for all my open-mindedness, I still profess to be superstitious on many levels. I'm still careful where I walk, ladders and whatnot. Better safe than sorry!

My dad was born on Friday the 13th.

Some superstitions, like 13 being a bad number, comes from the who pagan/witchcraft versus Christianity thing.

I also think it's intersting how Christian holidays compare to harvest-based festivals.

But I dont want to get into that here

When it comes to hockey I am extremely superstitious. I can't listen to the games on the radio, they always lose!!
And I refuse to wash my jersey after a win (it can get stinky if they go on a streak.
Yeah, but not with anything else though.
