The Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament definitely belongs on that list. A Hurricanes game? based on the tailgating? come on. UND may have a great arena, but I'd take Mariucci Arena at Minnesota anyday for atmosphere. Also, if you want college hockey, the WCHA Final Five at the X-Cel Center in St. Paul is as good as it gets, admittedly the BeanPot is the best in season tournament out there, but recently for end of the year tournament action, it doesn't get much better.

I have experienced...none of the above

      here are my hockey experiences...

The Los Angeles Kings at the Forum, later Staples Center

The Anaheim Mighty Ducks at the former Pond, Anaheim
      (now Honda Center)

The Los Angeles Blades old minor league team at the LA Sports Arena

The old San Diego Gulls minor league team at San Diego Sports Arena

The old Long Beach Sharks of the PHL, and the current Long Beach Ice Dogs of the ECHL...Long Beach Arena (great value for the money for hockey fans)

Not much, but there it is.

      --Barry

PS...I know about corporate naming, and new buildings but it should always be the Montreal Forum,
and Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto.

Oh...I thought you meant you had actually attended the event...Heck, if we're including games seen on TV, I've seen a lot of the things on the list...

"Miracle on Ice" - I was lucky enough to see it, but I was only 4 at the time and apparently napped through most of it?!?! My family is from Lake Placid and my grandfather worked for a company that was a major tv sponsor - so those Olympics were a BIG DEAL. My grandparents have all sorts of pictures in their den - there's even one of me with in a bobsled.

I live in Canada now so I have also seen:

4-MAPLE LEAFS GAME AT AIR CANADA CENTRE, TORONTO

7-CANADIENS GAME AT BELL CENTRE, MONTREAL
