We are going to see my wife's 'donor' - her biological father with whom she has really no relationship with. Her Mom and he divorced when she was 1 1/2 years old. He is, sad to say, a major idiot. Just ask his 1st, 2nd, 3rd and current 4th wife.
I called him the day the baby was born to give him the news......returned my call 5 days later and left a message saying "Hi - it's the reluctant Grandfather..." I had a knuckle-sandwich waiting.
My wife's mom remarried when wife was 3 and he's been her 'Dad'. But we don't want the biological dad to be some 'secret' to the baby later in life....so we want him to know of his existence.
(wow - that was longer than expected)
Also, my wife's step-sister (whom she's quite close too) and her husband and kids are flying out tomorrow afternoon from North Carolina to see the baby - my wife has no clue. In fact, she keeps asking why her sister hasn't called. Imagine her surprise tomorrow night! I can't wait.
Sunday? Church and whatever.....maybe a long nap! HA
Disney Music Behind the Magic exhibit at the EMP in Seattle on Sunday (see sig.). Saturday? Probably cleaning house or trying to figure out what to clean and then never get around to actually DOING it.
I love my awesome crazy wonderful friends!!
"Do you remember in kindergarten, how you’d meet a kid,
then 10 seconds later you’d be playing like you were best friends?"
It is going to be a refreshingly slow weekend! Yay! I have rehersals for tomorrow Sunday's preformance this afternoon then it's off to the new singles group I found at one of the churches here in the area! Yay!
Tomorrow I have a meeting at one but then am going shoe shopping - need good winter shoes. Maybe a movie?
Sunday I am preforming at a Lutheran Church w/ my co-worker Lanin and will probably go home take a nap and watch a movie w/ the people I am living w/ right now.
In other words - not much. Yay!

Founding member of the BA I LOVE us!!!
:sc: FIGHT ON!!!!!!
Tonight it's a night out with my husband. Beer and Borat!
Tomorrow, the kids have 2 soccer games and a birthday party, but I'm off the hook for all of it, because I "get" to do our elementary school's auction set-up from 8:30 a.m. til it's done.
THEN....I get to be in charge of guest check-in and check-out. So that's another 7 hours there. We're looking at a 15 hour school auction day.
On Sunday I have to finish rounding up all the orders for my daughter music trip fundraiser. Because everyone really wants to buy so much cookie dough, entertainment books, Sally Foster junk and wreaths right now. :botox: Then I get to write a big fat check to cover it all.
