There actually is an allergy that is related to water. No joke. Saw it on Discovery channel. I forget exactly how it affected the young girl but I do know that crying hurt her.

I am deathly allergic to nuts... but not peanuts, and I can eat honey nut cherros and marzapan. weird.
And I had a horrible allergic reaction to enchilladas one time (the blacking out, throwing up, ashama, drunkeness sort of reaction) but i think there must have been nuts in that or something. but I didn't have the reaction until 2 hours after I ate.

Three-time MVP Larry Bird, noting that Bryant has been the NBA's premier player for years, told Sports Illustrated's Dan Patrick before this week's announcement, "When someone told me the other day that Kobe hadn't won an MVP trophy, it sort of made me feel like I wanted to throw mine away."

Garlic gives me migraines. I also think I have an allergy to something else, maybe wheat, because I have eczema on different parts of my body. Mostly my feet now. Also, my watch makes break out. It's not an expensive watch, so who knows what it might be made of. Could be anything.

I am allergic to a form of grass... can't remember what type. But I know that my neighbor use to have it so I couldn't step on their grass barefoot to get like my baseball.

And my dad is allergic to shellfish, and he is the only one in my house who is.

oh and my mother is allergic to asprin, so she can't take anything with asprin in it.

I don't really have any food allergies.. I am allergic to MSG... It leaves me in the bathroom for hours. 5 pound lighter!!

I'm also allergic to Benedryl (hi-doses) and Phenegen (sp?) They both give me seizures and tremors. Yuck.

To live would be an awfully big adventure.

My wife and 2nd daughter are alergic to eggs. SHe became alergic when she got an MMR vacination while (unknowingly) pregnant with Katie. The vaccination is incubated in eggs. So nothing made with eggs can come into the house... really sucks

                            Re: Weird allergies?

My daughter is hyper-sensitive to Blue Food Coloring. Her body doesn't digest blue foods, so they pass through her body whole...uncomfortably. We've managed to avoid all blue food coloring for the past 2+ years. We were a little too haphazard before that, thinking she just wasn't chewing her food or something.

Anything blue really hurts her tummy, so she's motivated to avoid it, and she's old enough now (5) to make sure she's never served blue.

We read labels religiously, and shop mostly from natural food stores anyway, so it's really not a major life-altering ordeal for the family. It's just one of those things!

                            Here's what she can't have:

                            FD&C Blue No.1
                            Brilliant Blue FCF
                            Bright blue
Beverages, dairy products powders, jellies, confections, condiments, icings, syrups, extracts

                            FD&C Blue No.2
                            Indigotine Royal Blue
Baked goods, cereals, snack foods, ice cream, confections, cherries

                            FD&C Green No.3
                            Fast Green FCF
Sea GreenBeverages, puddings, ice cream, sherbert, cherries, confections, baked goods, dairy products

                              Re: Weird allergies?

I used to work at Limited Too years ago and we had a girl come in who was allerigic to Red Dye #3 and she wanted to buy a lipgloss so we had to look through the ingredients for them to find ones that didn't have Red Dye #3 in it!

Me...I'm allergic to my friend Natasha's cats....only hers, no one else's cats! random! And whenever the weather changes rapidly (ei hot to cold in one day or cold to hot in one day) something gets released into the air and it gives me a sinus infection. It sucks. the worst part is that they don't know exactly what it is that I'm allergic to...

                              My best score ever!
