Yes. Someone in my office said he heard it was a shark attack? I didn't think that was too funny.

Death is never something to joke about.

                        At least you're consistant.

I had the chance to hear Mr. Bradley speak at an event a few years ago, he was there to present an award to his pal Harrison Ford. He was quite funny, thoughtful and commanding. He was the inspiration for Mr. Ford's pierced ear and he'll truly be missed. Here's a nice piece on his life:
'60 Minutes' correspondent Ed Bradley dies at 65

                        Updated 11/9/2006 12:46 PM ET

                        CBS
60 Minutes correspondent Ed Bradley lost his battle with leukemia. He was 65.

                        By Peter Johnson, USA TODAY

Ed Bradley, the jazz-loving 60 Minutes correspondent whose race and earring set him apart from his more traditional, white colleagues on the top-rated newsmagazine, died Thursday of leukemia at New York's Mount Sinai Hospital, according to CBS News. He was 65.

A man who once described himself as a newsman who could "play all the positions, hit for average and for power," Bradley was perhaps the best-known African-American broadcast journalist in America. The 2006-07 season marked Bradley's 26th year on 60 Minutes, where his large body of work has been recognized by every major broadcast journalism award, including 19 News Emmys. And he was recently honored with the Lifetime Achievement award from the National Association of Black Journalists.

                          Re: Ed Bradley Passed Away

It is indeed sad. Mr. Bradley was sharp, inciteful, and frequently a very funny man, and he will be missed.

Let me also say, however, that it is my belief that the only way Mike Wallace will die will be if someone puts a wooden stake through his heart.
