    Lightning not Lighting sorry.

This is a picture taken from today 11/21. Lightning/Thunder storm that rolled through our fair city today. The thunder was so loud and powerful it actually made a few things on my desk shake.

    Those pictures are amazing.

My mom in Astoria, Oregon got it too. She was scared to use the phone all day. They don't get a ton of lightning there, so she said people were just nuts all day.

I love love love lightning storms, but we don't usually get them in Portland unless it's summer or late spring.

I had to drive back to work after lunch in that! The sky was so dark for 1:45 (except for the lighning of course) and it was also hailing.... no visibility! It was fun to watch once I was safely back at my desk though!

Wow. How can a camera capture the lighting right at that second. Wow!

Oh, I thought this thread was about lamps raining down on the city. Nevermind.

Wow - I was inside and our house is surrounded by trees so I could only tell when the lightning was going by the TV going fuzzy - but the thunder was amazing! At least once you could tell by hearing it that it was like a series of flashes - the thunder just wouldn't stop! I had the joy of being out in just the nasty heavy rain around dusk instead. Great pictures - glad I got to see what was really going on outside!
I love my awesome crazy wonderful friends!!
