  • Just like heaven...

... so, I was at the gates at openening of DL, then rushed up Main Street and into Tomorrowland. I rode Buzz and had a good time. As I was exiting, I hear they're doing soft opening of Space Mt.

I rush over and get on with NO line and the ride is awesome. Smooth and great new effects....

Then as I'm leaving the ride, I'm thinking how great this is... early morning at Disneyland with tons to do, no crowds, perfect weather and ... Then my logic side of my brain kicks in and asks when I drove to SoCal from Phoenix..... The other side of my brain is yelling "Let it go and enjoy!", but I can't figure out how I got here?

Then I start to wake up and my WHOLE brain is screamin' "No, no, noooo!!!!"

Then I get that tingly feeling when you're waking up from a dream and I'm trying to adjust and figure out where I'm at.... I'm alone in my bed, alone in my apartment.... It is a Wednesday and I have to leave for work in an hour.... Another 105+ day for the 10th day in a row.....

    Crap!

Darn you, I wasn't even halfway through your post when I was about to jump into my boss' office and tell her I had an emergency and needed to leave. Good thing I finished reading first.

Although, I had a similar dream about 3 months ago. Maybe it's a sign?

Oh man! I was just thinking about soft openings this morning. I was thinking about how Grumpy4 ditched me to go to WDW and that she was going to get to ride Space Mt, and wouldn't it be cool if I could say I rode our Space Mt while she was gone!

(Okay, she didn't ditch me. I just couldn't go this time. )
