  • Silly question?

    Hi friends,

I was just curious about etiquette for receiving reps. What's the routine? Do you reciprocate? Is it appropriate to send a private message of thanks? Or do you just leave it alone? I'm fairly new and feel like I need to do something.

    Bundt cake?

    It has hole...

reciprocate if you wish- there is no need for a thank you, just give to someone if you like what they have to say.

It is a good way to get to know others however- I have met lots of great people by pming them to discuss a comment they left- the system is all about building a great community, so use it how you see fit!

Someone gives you rep as a way of saying they either really liked or found your post offensive. There is no real ediquette for it.

          Okay I get it now.

Thanks - I'll put bundt away.

            Aww, I missed the cake!
            Good morning, son
            In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
            It was pain
            Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

In return for my rep, I accept cash, baked goods, dark chocolate almonds, rum, plane tickets, directions to Natalie Portman's place, or lifetime AP's.

              Now......who's feeling generous?
"The old man's gonna knock on the sky. Listen to the sound."

              AP'er since 2004. Yup.....I'm one of THEM.
