  • Michael Eisner in Northridge

My cousin graduated in Northridge this weekend and Michael Eisner was there to speak. They gave him an honerary Doctorite and named a building after him because he donated so much money to the school. I told my aunt that he needed to put more money into the park

A lot of the buildings at CSUN are named after Eisner. I think it's nice he gives money to this school. A bunch of my friends go there, and I also work there during the summer.

i used to work @ CSUN. and i think it was during the fall of 02 when eisner donated a large sum to the college of education there at CSUN. now when you call the deans office of education the receptionists that have to answer the phone have to say...thank you for calling the michael d eisner college of education. that might have changed in the past 2 years but i had to say that when i was answering the phones there
Don't you realize? The next time you see sky, it'll be over another town. The next time you take a test, it'll be in some other school. Our parents, they want the best of stuff for us. But right now, they got to do what's right for them. Because it's their time. Their time! Up there! Down here, it's our time. It's our time down here. That's all over the second we ride up Troy's bucket.

I think he should have donated to a law school, considering the millions in settlements he cost the company, they could use some better lawyers.

I think the whole "Honorary Doctorate" thing is a disgrace to anyone who worked for their real Doctorate. They spend years toiling away in obscurity, and some rich guy donates some cash and gets the same verbal credit that he does. Absolutely stupid.

And I'm not saying this solely because of Eisner. I think it's a bad idea to begin with.
