Press today is so concerned with cool vs. not cool that they're starting to forget good vs. bad. I'm not sure I'll ever be "cool", but I will always tirelessly strive to be "great". - Josh Groban

Say It Ain't So - Weezer
That was wonderful! Bravo! I loved that! Ah, that was great! Well, it was pretty good. Well, it wasn't bad. Uh, there were parts of it that weren't very good though. It could have been a lot better. I didn't really like it. It was pretty terrible. It was bad. It was awful! It was terrible! Take 'em away! Boo! Boo!

Today, it's the live version of Rocket Man at MSG by Elton John.

This song is so good that it has replaced my other favorite of Light My Fire by the Doors.

Anyone want to hear this song can PM me and I'll send it.

Hallelujah as performed by either Leonard Cohen, Jeff Buckley or Rufus Wainwright. It's the most beautiful song on earth.
Rufus:
Leonard:
Jeff Buckley:

I'll Stand By You by The Pretenders. Whenever I'm down, I crank this. It's so "anthemy" and cool.

A newer favorite is Velvet by a-ha. It's such a gorgeous song. A friend gave me the CD about 8 years ago and it's in constant rotation.

My favorite cheesy song is Let The Music Play by Shannon. It's been my favorite song since I was 10. I still can't get enough of it.

I have to do it by genres:

Rock: Satisfaction (Rolling Stones)
Country-ish: Sweet Home Alabama (Skynyrd)
Big Band: In the Mood
Christmas: White Christmas (Bing)/Christmastime is Here (Vince Guaraldi)
Standard: TBD
Blues: So What (Miles Davis)
Jazzy: Linus and Lucy (Vince Guaraldi)
Classic: Imagine (Beatles)
Hawaiian: Alekoki (Dennis Pavao)

Good choices!

But lately I've liked...

If I Give My Heart to You (Kitty Kallen)
Little Things Mean A Lot (Kitty Kallen)
These Foolish Things (Remind Me of You) (Helen Ward)

Lots of Elvis
Lots of Beatles

Too many to say I have one or even two all time fav's. But it would most likley be a song before 1969. Not much happened in the 70's, 80's 90's or 00's... But that's just MHO.

CU@DL

Andy
-
What is, is... What is not, is not.

Boom!

I don't ask for much... Just a few little things!

Extra effort yields extraordinary results!

Favorite Song?

Well here is my short list:

#1 All time favorite song: Fast Times in Tahoe By Elemeno P

I'm not a huge fan of the music video, but you can listen to the song at least.

Runners Up:

Creep by Radiohead

This isn't the music video for it but it's a really cool animation featuring the song.

There are many songs I like but these are the two that always come to mind.
What an idiot....

Yeah, I do that Twitter thing.

frecky, I couldn't find Sarah singing Rainbow Connection, but here's Debbie Harry:
