  • Looking for different fast food? Try Fazolis!

I know, sounds like an ad doesn't it.

    Seriously though, it was GOOD!

    http://www.fazolis.com/

I was in Phoenix over the weekend and we wanted Italian food but weren't really TOO hungry, and we didn't have time for a sit down meal before our flight, so our friends took us to Fazolis. Had no idea what it was, never heard of it before this weekend. Apparently they are all over the place. Unfortunately the closest to me is about 60 miles away.

I got spaghetti and meatballs and it was around $5 and had lots of leftovers, and I got the small! Brian got chicken parm for around $5. And when you eat there you get free breadsticks that are to DIE for. There is also pizza and paninis as well as other pastas and Italian dishes, all of which I have been told are equally delicious, and affordable.

So if you want a quick Italian fix, give them a try. I don't gush over restaurants much but this place was GOOD!

It can't be fast food if I have to drive to Phoenix.

We have it here in Minnesota. The only one I have been to though, was in Norco California!

The food is alright but the service at the one at the Ontario Mills is HORRIBLE!!! There were times I would go on my lunch break (which is only 30 minutes long) it would seriously take over 40 minutes to get my food...either inside or in the drive thru, I only ordered Chicken Parmesean so it wasn't anything too extravagant. Last time I went there was on a Friday night before going to the movie theatres. My b/f and I ordered food inside and WE NEVER GOT OUR FOOD!!! We were there 50 minutes and asked TWICE about our food and NEVER GOT IT!!! My b/f demanded his $$$ back because, again WE NEVER GOT OUR FOOD and we had a movie to go to in 10 minutes. I really enjoyed their breadsticks a lot more than Olive Garden but if I'm in the mood for Italian I'll just go to Olive Garden during the afternoon for the lunch prices because as for Fazoli, I'm never going there again as long as I live nearby this crappy one. :thumbdown

              O-Nut,

You should have told me you were coming to P-town. I could have pointed you in some really good, tasty directions. We have some great culinary options here! I hope you enjoyed your time here.

                  Don't have any locations nearby.

All this time I thought P-town was short for Provincetown

They have them here in Florida. I have never had a good experience. I always get sick after eaten there. I usually don't have a problem eating fast food. I don't know what it is about that place.
I haven't eaten there in seven years.

I don't have any closer than 10 minutes away... and it's all the way in a city thats 30 seconds from where I live! If I want fast food, I want it now, not in 15 minutes!

The Pizzarino combo is what I usually got when I was on a budget. Peperoni pizza on half sub bread, spaghetti with meat sauce, and drink all for $3.99.

However, I have to stay away. I need to lose some of this weight!

Last time I checked, Phoenix was the fifth biggest city in the nation, and Portland is...uhmm.... yah, who cares (to be fair, I did check, and Portland is not even in the top 50, so I quickly grew tired).
