  • Your Favorite Toy?

Being that I have a 7 month old son at home, my house has been taken over by toys. Toys here, toys there....Baby Einstein this....Fisher Price that....etc and so on.

It got me to thinking about toys I had when I was a kid.....

Take a little trip down 'childhood' memory lane.....Do you remember what was your favorite toy as a kid?

"Weebles Wobble but they don't fall down!" I loved Weebles.

Definitely Barbie. I had about 15 of them.

One more for Barbie. I would sit for hours braiding all of my dolls hair, and then waiting for it to become wavy.
My mom, would not buy any of the big accessories though, so I remember making a Barbie swimming pool out of tupperware.

It changed as I aged. But my absolute favorite single toy was this tin/metal helicopter that you could wind up and the propellers would spin. I even took it with me on Disneyland trips.

I had a small, stuffed dog: short, kinda wiry hair on it. I loved that thing.

My Uncle had Atari - we used to sit in his room and play Pong on his little 13 inch black and white TV back in the 1970's. Around 1981 or 1982, we thought we had 'arrived' when we got Intelevision.

                      Wow, how times have changed......

My sons favorite toys were Micro Machines. Remember those? They were teeny tiny cars.
He also loved Lego's. He would sit and play with those for hours, but hated cleaning them up!
