Three-time MVP Larry Bird, noting that Bryant has been the NBA's premier player for years, told Sports Illustrated's Dan Patrick before this week's announcement, "When someone told me the other day that Kobe hadn't won an MVP trophy, it sort of made me feel like I wanted to throw mine away."

Wow. They'll come up with anything these days. I think it's good for when you think mother nature my strike and cause your wedding to get ruined.

      Re: Wedding Insurance

Actually, I think this is genius. After all the near disastrous calamities that we had to resolve before, and on, our wedding day, I can almost guarantee that a lot of people would seriously benefit from this. All it takes is one vendor screw-up to set in motion a wicked bad series of events that could ruin a wedding. Insurance would definitely bring some peace of mind after how expensive these things can be.
