  • Friends who know nothing!

Is it just me or do people you know try to tell you things about Disney that are not true?

I have a friend and we fought (nicely) for about 30 minutes on what the caterpillars name is in Bugs Life. She swore it was Heinrich and even after telling her that I have seen the name on the ride at DCA several times and I know the movie very well she would not listen to me!

It's Heimlich like the maneuver you use to help someone when they are choking not Heinrich!!!!

So I sent her an email with a link from the Pixar site that lists character names and profiles to prove to her that I am right!

Does this kind of thing ever happen to anyone else???

No, everyone around me just naturally acquiesces to the fact that I am always right. I leave no room for argument.

I wasn't trying to joke. But I only have like 3 friends left. I drove them all away with my constant rightness.

Jealousy is such an ugly emotion.

It's written that if you correct a wise man, he will love you for it. But your reward for correcting a fool is a blow to the face. That said doombuggy driver, I've experienced the very same thing that you have.

So after you sent your friend the info did she admit she was wrong or just ignore it? Some poor devils who are assertively ignorant don't let facts overrule their stupidity. It's pointless to correct people like that... it just makes them worse. All you can do is ignore them. Oh and make rude noises....

What gets me the most is the reaction of said knucklehead. I try my hardest not to be wrong and I am very appologetic when I am incorrect. Some of these argumentitive buffoons act like nothing happened when proven wrong.

Suck it up and admit you are stupid every now and then. See now that didn't hurt much.

Doesn't that just drive you crazy? You confront these people with irrefutable evidence they are wrong and suddenly the topic no longer exists. Let them stay stupid. Ridicule and mock them instead of telling them the right answer. That sounds a bit harsh, but hey, they deserve it.

                    yes, a lot about DL.

She says it like it's fact, I correct her, she snaps back I show evidence and poos it's off.

It amazes me that it's that important that you be right about something so petty. Sometimes you just have to let it go.

And not everybody is as huge of a Disney nerd as we are, it's highly unlikely they'd know this stuff.

I never argue with someone who always think there right. its not worth the argument, nor the time.
