I haven't but my daugher and her fiance saw it in San Diego last week. They thought it was pretty funny, but did contain a lot of adult themes and material. But I'm guessing you already know that.

I have the soundtrack, and am dying to get a chance to go and see it. All of my students rave about it.

I saw it about a year or so ago when it opened at the Wynn in Las Vegas with the original New York cast (minus Stephanie D'Abruzzo).

            It was great, very funny!

It won several Tony awards including:

            Best Musical
            Best Book of a Musical
            Best Original Score

            and was also nominated for:

            Best Direction of a Musical
Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical
Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical

            Go see it!

It's so funny, you really need to see it. It's good if you're looking for something fun and easy to follow. There isn't a complicated story, and that makes musicals difficult at times. Besides, puppets ensue hilarity. I think it's a given.

Speedway, if there's any doubt in your mind, the song titles from the album ought to convince you:

1.Avenue Q Theme, The2.What Do You Do With A B.A. In English? / It Sucks To Be Me3.If You Were Gay4.Purpose5.Everyone's A Little Bit Racist6.Internet Is For Porn, The7.Mix Tape8.I'm Not Wearing Underwear Today9.Special10.You Can Be As Loud As The Hell You Want (When You're Makin' Love)11.Fantasies Come True12.My Girlfriend, Who Lives In Canada13.There's A Fine, Fine Line14.There Is Life Outside Your Apartment15.More You Ruv Someone, The16.Schadenfreude17.I Wish I Could Go Back To College18.Money Song, The19.School For Monsters: / The Money Song (Reprise)20.There's A Fine, Fine Line / What Do You Do With A B.A. In English? - (reprise, reprise)21.For Now

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

                        Re: Avenue Q

Haven't seen it yet, but it's going to be in Columbus during the next season of Broadway shows (and included in the season pass!). I'm definitely going to try to make it.

Also coming are Spamalot and Sweeney Todd and The Lion King. May be a busy year for me.

Spamalot is another hilarious show. I took my theater class to see it 2 years ago and everyone loved it!
