Stopped painting/creating art when her family needed her to help with financial support (If she couldn't paint full time, then she wouldn't paint at all). So she then became a teacher and taught elementary school. When she was able to devote to her art full time, only then did she begin to paint again.
I have just quit my elementary school teaching job. I hope to be able to devote my full time to art (although I may teach some enrichment art classes to kids after school this coming fall).
Brian May, the guitarist from Queen. The guy made his own guitar when he was 17, started the band, and managed to become a Professor in Astrology (if memory serves me correct). Not to mention he's really down to earth.

She bravely battled cancer for over 8 years with a positive attitude. When she was in the hospital the very last time, she made me go on a trip to DL saying "I'm fine, please go." She made friends promise her that I would go. She knew she was dying and didn't want me to watch her pass away. I can't believe the strength that woman had to, on her death bed, think of her daughter. I only hope someday I can be half the person she was.
Sounds cliche but Walt Disney has been an idol of mine since I was a kid. At first I wasn't sure why but as I got older I learned more and more and admired him so much.
My Grandparens but mainly my Gramps. Just this year alone he's gone through chemo for prostate cancer and right after he finished that he had a sudden quadruple bypass! All through this his main concern was still my Grandma who has Alzheimers and is in a home.
