Does anyone know any good sites to check out abandoned or tour mines? I remember visiting some when I lived in SoCal and when I was in Nevada.

Don't know of any sites. Google is probably going to be your friend. But I do know that the Calico Ghost Town is just 2 hours away from Disneyland and they do have a mine there that can be toured.

Jerome, Arizona. Actually, I've never gone to the actual mine, but if you're ever in central Arizona, this is a neat place to go to. It's kind of funny to see all the old buildings there from when it was a "big city" since now it's really small.

You're wrong, Brer Rabbit, why would I want to be home when I can be at Disneyland?!?
