Have anyone of you ever been on a haunted tour? I was looking online for vegas tours. There is a really intersting one, I am thinking about going on.

It seems really interesting. What are you thoughts or experiences with Haunted tours? (I thought I would start this thread since it is close to halloween)

This spirited and spooky ghost tour will take you to the haunting grounds of Bugsy Siegel, Liberace, Redd Foxx and Elvis. Robert Allen, creator of Haunted Vegas Tours now makes it possible to visit such eerie sites by offering a guided Tour and Show, featuring Sin City's Darkest Ghostly Secrets.

According to Allen, who consulted with Tim Cridland, a paranormal historian and Janice Oberding, author of the book "Haunted Nevada," there are more than 21 places where paranormal activity has been documented in Las Vegas.

The tour covers such sites as the "Motel of Death," where numerous celebrity deaths have occurred and the former home of a Las Vegas legend where his ghost continues to haunt despite numerous attempts to exorcise it.

yeah, when I was in high school, me and my parents took one through Gettysburg, Pa. It was very interesting. It was a walking tour through the historical streets, where they pointed out places where "ghosts" had been active. One was a house where the people were redecorating, and they had wallpaper books in the house, everytime they would leave....upon their arrival back at the house, the books would be open to the same sample everytime. Finally, while tearing down walls, they discovered that the original wallpaper in the house was the same wallpaper that kep turning up in the books. They also took us into the house of the only civilian killed during the Civil War, and into the basement where the body of the girl was held until the fighting ended and it was safe to bury her. Legend said that all pictures taken down there wouldn't come out. Oddly enough, I took 2 or 3 pictures, and only one came out. haha.

It was fun, and after 10 or so years, I still remember some of the stories, as you see.

I was at the Queen Mary, not at a tour, I was at the Scottish Festival and there's a self tour. It was just about the Queen Mary's history, but where the Rocky Horror Picture Show display was, I took a left and OHMYGOSH! I've never been one to think "ohhh ghosts are real!" But I guess I went somewhere I wasn't supposed to be, and got lost, and I was so scared. I felt just a passing cold through me and it was there for a minute and then gone and I went from in a tank top, shorts, flip flops (actually Greek-ish flip flop sandals thing.) I was warm I was sweating to freezing down to my core. It was the scariest thing I've ever felt and I basically ran to find somene I knew and said "I'm getting out of here." It was so scary and it wasn't even at a "Haunted Tour" it was just.... Kim got lost on a boat that's apparently haunted.

I'm a big scaredy cat. I couldn't do a haunted tour. EeeK! I'd be afraid a ghost would follow me home.

I hope you find what you are looking for Kelly.

                Re: Haunted Tours

I have been on a haunted walking tour in St Augustine, FL. Didn't see anything but I really enjoyed the history behind the stories more than anything else. And we did the "original" St Augustine haunted tour. There have been many others but they use cheesy stunts and actors for a mild "thrill" experience. St. Augustine is very haunted....it should be, considering it is the oldest city in the United States.

                    Re: Haunted Tours

I have taken the Walking Ghost Tour in St. Augustine twice, both times I have experienced something. The first is this photograph...

The second was the experience below, I posted in the Lonesome Ghosts Club but for the public I'll copy it here.

My mother, my daughter and I went on the Walking Ghost Tour in St. Augustine, FL. For those that aren't aware St. Augustine has the official title of being the most "Haunted City in America" mainly because its the oldest city in America.

But anyway, our tour guide has taken us behind Castillo's De San Marcos (a very old fort) to the "Execution Wall."

Nothing unusual, we all snapped pictures etc.. but all of a sudden I got a REALLY bad headache and I had this feeling like I just needed to get out of there. I wasn't scared but it was more of an anxious feeling. The headache not going away, our guide brought us around to the front entrance of the fort and told us we could sit on a half wall that was there.

Well I went and sat down first and as I sat down my mother was walking towards me, I heard her gasp.

Immediately my headache ceased and I asked her what the problem was. She told me that just then a big white ball of light came shooting out the middle of my back.

I never get headaches and I hadn't mentioned it to my mother so I found it odd that A. My headache disappeared at the exact moment my mother said something and B. That she was a witness with me to this entity.

Either way I can't wait to go back again and see if anything else happens. I was never scared and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat or headache as the case may be.

Is that the Hugenot cemetery on the main street or the one off of St George? And was it foggy that night or did that mist only show up after you took the photo?

It's the Hugenot cemetary off St. George, near the front gates. It wasn't foggy that night, no one was smoking and I have a photo taken a few seconds later of the exact same spot and this isn't there.
