Wendy, how far away do you thing you would be willing to travel to? Since you are in North County San Diego I think most of the motels in that area are pretty much booked.... over 500,000 people evac'd from that area.... you may have to travel into Riverside Co. to find a place.

Re: Evacuee needs help please
I have a couple of cousins that have been evacuated and they told me that hotels are really relaxing thier rules pertaining to pets in areas where evacuees are going. I am sure if you explain the situation to them they may be very accomidating.

Kennel, and its covered by your homeowners insurance.Three-time MVP Larry Bird, noting that Bryant has been the NBA's premier player for years, told Sports Illustrated's Dan Patrick before this week's announcement, "When someone told me the other day that Kobe hadn't won an MVP trophy, it sort of made me feel like I wanted to throw mine away."

Re: Evacuee needs help please
okay well we found a place. We will be t the La Quinta just off the freeway. Good thing we are AP holders. We will just drive into the park and dont have to worry about walking. They said that we can keep her in the room as long as she in kenneled and they have a number to reach us at. It is really bad up here. We will probably leave sometime soon. hopefully before dark. I wish everyone the best. They do have high speed access so I may be able to get on again... but we will see. Best of luck and my prayers are with everyone.
